PhD Recruitment Opportunity

Professor Stephen Muggleton FREng (SM) has recently joined Nanjing University and is recruiting motivated PhD students to join his research group.

He was previously a Professor at Imperial College London, and before that at the University of York and the University of Oxford. Professor Muggleton is the founder of the field of Inductive Logic Programming (ILP), and has made pioneering contributions to its theory, implementation, and applications.

Research topics of interest for PhD supervision include:

• Bayesian Inference in Learning
• Meta-Interpretive Learning
• Higher-order Logics in AI
• Program Synthesis and Efficiency
• Cognitive Science and AI interfaces

Application domains include:
